At the trailhead, we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise. The light struck the peaks in spectacular fashion.
It would have been difficult to get lost on this one (no matter how well skilled Keith is at finding a way). The trail was well grooved. We enjoyed one another's company through the snow and trees.
The race was on to get to the top! Competition was fierce. In the end, Keith made it first followed closely by Shauntae #SnowshoesFTW.
The top of Rummel Ridge gave us spectacular views of the mountains around and the valley below.
This is of course time for a summit beer!
As we descended, the light pierced the clouds. Spotlights hit the mountains.
